About

Currently, I’m in Ecuador finishing up my student teaching. Soon, I’ll be a real teacher and am looking forward to teaching abroad some more before settling down in the States.

I’m originally from Indiana, but I moved to Michigan so I claim both as home. I am graduating from Indiana University Purdue University Fort Wayne (soon to be Purdue Fort Wayne) with my Bachelor’s in Elementary Education and a concentration in science.

For my graduation Honors project, I chose to look at the effect of factors on the language learning process in both a foreign context and second context. My love for language and the language learning process was sparked a few years ago, however, this project definitely intensified it! If you would like to know more about my project, research and paper, please contact me.

I have no idea where life is going to take me, but my naturally positive outlook and curious personality will ensure a life full of adventure!

If you would like to follow along with the places I go, the people I meet, the things I eat and experiences I have – check back at this blog! I’ll keep it updated as best I can!
